Mersen USCC Series UltraSafe Modular Fuse holders introduce a new level of safety for Class CC 1-1/2" x 13/32" AC and DC-rated fuses up to 30 amperes. UltraSafe holders qualify as “Finger-safe” under IEC and DIN standards to an IP20 grade of protection, including fuse changing (with the flick of a finger). UltraSafe holders are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 poles, with or without visual blown-fuse indicators in each pole. Multi-pole units can also be field assembled by ordering pin-tie handles. UltraSafe holders save up to 15% mounting space and any combination can be snapped onto 35mm DIN-rail for extra savings in panel building time. UltraSafe holders with Class CC fuses chosen for Type “2” No Damage protection give one of the safest protection packages in the industry. UltraSafe body material is tough and durable polyamide, with exceptional insulating properties.

- The USCC3 is a 3-pole, 30-Amp finger-safe modular fuse holder designed specifically for Class CC fuses. It provides a compact, high-performance solution for protecting three-phase motor branch circuits, control transformers, and lighting loads in industrial control panels.
- Unlike the USCC3I, this standard USCC3 model does not include visual blown-fuse indicator lights. It is the preferred choice for applications where external monitoring (like a PLC) is already in place, or for budget-conscious builds that still require the premium safety and reliability of the Mersen UltraSafe™ line.
- The USCC3 is rated IP20 finger-safe, meaning personnel are protected against accidental contact with live parts. The innovative pull-out fuse drawer allows for "flick-of-a-finger" fuse changes without tools. While it is a non-load disconnect, the dead-front design ensures maximum safety during maintenance when the circuit is de-energized.
- When equipped with high-interrupting Class CC fuses (such as Mersen ATDR, ATQR, or ATMR), the USCC3 allows your electrical panel to achieve a Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of up to 200,000 Amps. This provides "Type 2 No Damage" protection, shielding sensitive downstream components from catastrophic failure during a short circuit.
- This 3-pole unit features a compact footprint that saves up to 15% more mounting space than traditional open fuse blocks. It snaps directly onto standard 35mm DIN rails, allowing for fast, organized assembly alongside contactors and PLCs. The rugged polyamide body ensures excellent insulation and durability in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C.
