- 3-Pole, 600V Heavy Duty Disconnect: Built for the Toughest Environments The Schneider Electric (Square D) VHU362GL is a 60-Amp, 3-pole, non-fusible safety switch. Part of the Spec-Set™ or heavy-duty line, it is engineered for industrial applications where frequent operation and high reliability are non-negotiable. It provides a visible, lockable means of disconnecting power to 3-phase motors and machinery in Canadian industrial plants.
- Housed in a NEMA Type 3R galvanized steel enclosure, this switch is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It provides a high degree of protection against rain, sleet, and external ice formation. This makes it an ideal choice for Canadian rooftop HVAC units, pumping stations, and exterior industrial equipment where exposure to the elements is expected.
- As a non-fusible switch, the VHU362GL does not contain fuse clips. Its primary purpose is to provide a manual "on/off" point and a physical break in the circuit for maintenance safety.
