Features
- The Schneider Square D VH364GL is a 200-Amp, 3-pole, 600V fusible safety switch. Part of the new VisiPacT line, it is designed to provide a high-performance disconnect for industrial motors and feeders, allowing for safe isolation of electrical equipment during maintenance or emergencies.
- The "GL" suffix indicates a factory-installed viewing window. This allows operators to visually verify that the internal switch blades are actually disconnected (visible air gap) without exposing themselves to the potential arc flash hazards of opening the enclosure door while the system is energized.
- This switch is housed in a NEMA 1 indoor-rated steel enclosure. It is designed for dry, indoor environments to provide protection against accidental contact with live parts and falling dirt. For outdoor or "washdown" applications, you would need the NEMA 3R (VH364RGL) or NEMA 4X (VH364SSGL) versions.
- The VH364GL is built for high-demand industrial loads: 125 HP at 480V AC (Standard) / 150 HP at 600V AC (with Time-Delay fuses). 40 HP at 250V DC / 50 HP at 600V DC. It features a quick-make, quick-break mechanism that ensures the contacts snap open or closed rapidly, reducing internal arcing and extending the life of the switch.
